QR code data: All QR codes are generated locally in your browser. The content you enter (URLs, WiFi passwords, contact info, etc.) is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
PDF file uploads: When you upload PDF files for QR code generation:
- Files are temporarily uploaded to and stored on Cloudinary servers
- All uploaded files are automatically permanently deleted after 30 days
- File metadata (filenames, timestamps) is stored only in your browser's localStorage
- We do not store, view, or process the content of uploaded PDF files on our primary servers
- You may delete any uploaded file at any time using the delete function in the file history table
Usage data: We may collect anonymous analytics (page views, browser type, device type) to understand how the site is used and improve performance.
Contact form: If you contact us by email, we receive your name, email address, and message. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry.
Blog comments: When you leave a comment on our blog:
- We collect the name, email address, and comment content you provide
- Your name and comment are publicly displayed on the blog post
- Your email address is used only for comment notifications and is not publicly visible
- Comments are stored on our backend servers and persist until manually deleted
- Comment data may be sent to third-party avatar services to display your profile image
